Drummer Wanted!

Established instrumental, groove-oriented band Quivertwist seeks a creative, dedicated drummer. Our influences include bands like Morphine, Tuatara, Primus and Estradasphere. Onward and Upward

Thanks to all who came out to party with us at our CD release! We had a great time on and off stage, got to play with some cool bands and even sold a few CDs. Although it was Steve's last performance with Quivertwist on the drum kit, he has thankfully agreed to play percussion at shows for us in the future.

Now that the party is over we are looking onward and upward to an exciting and boundless future. We have a talented drummer who we'll be auditioning soon, a backlog of ideas to develop, some new recording equipment and some potential guest performers to jump-start our new phase. We hope to book some new shows by spring or early summer 2006 if things progress as we hope.

"Hydrogen Bong" is now available as a free download and if you dig the groove you can use your credit card to purchase the new CD and have it delivered to your front door.

WHAT?! An Update?! A CD Release Party?!

First off, welcome to the new Quivertwist website! Thanks to Karinne Legault for all her help with the new site design.

After a long two years, Quivertwist is finally back on the scene, and with a brand-spanking-new full-length CD to boot! You'll find a link on our Music page where you can buy our CD online, and we'll have some sample clips coming soon.

On a related note, we're having a CD Release Party!

When: Friday October 14th
Where: Mavericks Bar (221 Rideau near Cumberland)
Cover: $5 or $6 (cheap!)

This will be Steve's farewell show!

Doors open at 8, we'll hit the stage no later than 10pm to warm things up for Donkey Punch and Slow Nerve Response. We're so excited to play after all this time that we wanted to play first! :) Plus, that gives you all lots of time to pick up our CD, for sale at the show!
